AU Career PhD & JR and the Junior Researcher Association organise three courses for postdocs and assistant professors this autumn:
- Fundamentals of Academic Writing: 5 Mondays starting 24 October 2022 (webinars)
- Elements of Leadership: 6-7 December 2022 (physical meeting)
- Self-leadership: 8 December 2022 (physical meeting)
The courses are developed and facilitated by Matt Lane, PhD, who is the Director of the Researcher Development Partnership. Matt has +10 years of experience with researcher development and facilitation of courses and workshops, and he focuses on communication and the foundations of academic English for international publication, researcher wellbeing, researcher leadership using key mindsets to master essential skillsets, and organisational development to affect positive structural change.
The courses are free of charge, and certificates will be awarded on 80 per cent participation.
