Synchronisation with ORCID
Depending on which browser you use, you may run into problems if you try to synchronise your publication in Pure to ORCID.
The Pure supplier has changed the security policy related to exchange of content in Pure. If you use Chrome when you are at AU physically and connected to AU's network, or if you are connected through an AU VPN connection it is likely that you run into the problem.
If you instead use Firefox, when you are at AU or an AU VPN-connection, you should not run into the ORCID synch problem. If you still do not succeed, using Firefox, please write us at email@example.com. Or, you may show up at drop-in support on Thursdays 10:00 - 11:00 AM in Zoom and share your screen so we can guide you through the process.
We expect the problem to be solved with our next Pure upgrade in the middle of March, enabling users to use Chrome with Pure regardless of where they are.
