Deadline for registration of publications in Pure: 19th of January

Sunday the 19th of January 2025 is last call for registrating publications published in 2024.

The new year is almost upon us. That means it is time to ensure that all your publications and other research outputs published in 2024 are registered in Pure.

Sunday the 19th of January is the deadline for registrating publications published in 2024. This deadline ensures that all publications registered on time will be validated before the 1st of March 2025, which is a requirement for them to be included in this year's management reporting.

If you are a researcher or an administrative employee who registers in PURE, it is important that you check the following before the deadline:

  • Are all your publications registered in PURE?
  • Has the entry for your publications with release year 2024 been completed?
  • Have any of your publications changed publication status since you registered them?
  • Are your publications subject to the correct categories ('research', 'dissemination', 'consultancy' and 'teaching')?
  • Has the 'peer review' been entered correctly?
  • Is the Open Access status correct for relevant publications?

AU key figures

At the beginning of March, AU will receive an overview of AU's research production. The statement includes the number of registered and validated publications published in 2024 and is included as part of the university's annual report. Write to pure@au.dk if you have any questions.

Facts about Open Access

At the beginning of March 2025, publications published in 2023 will be harvested to the Danish Open Access indicator. Therefore, you need to make sure that the Open Access status of your publications from 2023 is correct. Also feel free to look at publications from 2024 so that you have everything up to date. Upload the accepted manuscript to Pure, if you have the publisher's permission to parallel publish it. If you are in doubt about how to deal with Open Access, please contact your contact person at AU Library. You can read more about Open Access here.
