Offers for researchers and PhD students

Guest lectures at a Circle U. partner university

As a researcher at a Circle U. university, you have ample opportunity to give a guest lecture at one of the universities of the alliance. It could be under the auspices of the three knowledge hubs (climate, democracy or global health), who are working to further develop the academic collaboration between the universities.


Mobility grants for researchers at Arts and Health

Arts and Health offer academic staff members at assistant professor level and above the possibility of applying for a travel grant for visits to other Circle U. universities. The grants are up to DKK 20,000 for individuals (and up to DKK 50,000 to groups at Arts). In relation to group travels, students are also eligible for travel grants.


Female Founder Network for entrepreneurs

Circle U. is planning to establish a network for female entrepreneurs (researchers and students). The female founder network will be run under the auspices of the Circle U. har planer om at etablere et netværk for kvindelige iværksættere (både forskere og studerende). Female Founder Network will be run under the auspices of the Student-led Sustainable Innovation work package

The Circle U. Seed Funding Scheme

As a researcher, you can now apply for seed funding for educational and research projects that involve at least three Circle U. alliance partners. You can apply for up to EUR 10,000 per project. 

The application deadline is 15 October 2024. 

Teaching Innovation Lab Week

Would you like to know more about learning design, how to use generative AI tools in your teaching, and how to make your teaching more innovative?

Then sign up for this three-day training week, which takes place at UCLouvain on 11-13 September 2024. The training week consists of a combination of traning modules and a two-day Co-creation lab, where you'll learn how to develop different learning activities together with colleagues from all over Europe.

The training week is organised by the CU Teaching Innovation Lab and participation is free of charge.
