Web bios of candidates for the AU Board

Present yourself as a student representative candidate for the AU Board

  • Use the form below to upload a short web bio to present yourself as a student representative candidate for the AU Board.
  • Your bio will be available on the AU website between 28 October and 14 November 2024.

Please note: In order to stand as a student representative candidate for the AU Board, you must have registered your candidacy in the E-vote election system between 7 and 11 October. The form on this website is not to register your candidacy – it is to upload your bio.

The web bio will contain the information you must fill in the form as well as a picture, if you want this. In addition to this, you have 1,000 characters to present yourself and your reasons for standing for election. If you are standing as part of a list, please indicate this in the 1,000 characters.

Should your presentation also be in Danish?

If you would like your bio to be published in both Danish and English, you must fill in a similar form on the Danish version of this page. You are responsible for translating your own text.  

Step-by-step guide

  1. Enter the required information - the fields marked with *
  2. Write a text of max. 1000 characters in a program that can count characters (like Word). Explain why you have decided to stand for election or anything else you think is relevant. If you are standing for election as part of a list, explain that as well.
  3. Copy the text into the form. The form doesn’t count characters. And if your text is too long, it won’t tell you how many characters you’ve gone over.
  4. Upload a similar photograph of max. 1 mb. Note: It will be cropped to a square format (300x300 px.), so think about this when choosing the photograph.
  5. Click ‘Next’.
  6. Double-check your text and 'submit' the form. You can’t make any changes after you submit the text. 
  7. You will then receive two emails from the Election Secretariat.
    • The first email will ask you to confirm your email by clicking a link. (Note: It's a very long link that may look like spam.) Clicking the link will take you back to the web page, where you can see the text you submitted. But you can’t change the text. 
    • The second mail gives you a final overview of the information you’ve submitted.
  8. Your presentation is now complete and will be visible on au.dk/election/bios from 30 October until 16 November, when the election ends.
