To check your voting rights, log in to the election system using your civil registration number and your password for the self-service (WAYF).
When it is possible to check your voting rights, the link to the login page will be available on the front page of www.au.dk/valg.
When you have logged in to the election system, you can see which bodies you can vote for and when.
2. Check your voting rights on the election list
If you are not registered correctly in the election system, you can check the election list, which is a list of everyone eligible to vote in these AU elections.
You can search the list to see how you are registered (when you do a search, you need to be aware that the search is case-sensitive).
3. If you are registered incorrectly / your voting rights are incorrect
If you think you are registered incorrectly, please contact the Election Secretariat. You can also fill out an objection to the election list form. Please send the form to the Election Secretariat (by mail or by email valg@au.dk).
Please take a look at the schedule to see when the objection form must be received by the Election Secretariat in relation to the current election. Any errors will, however, be corrected as long as it is practically possible.
You vote electronically via www.e-vote.dk during the election period. Log on to the system with your AU ID and password for WAYF.
If you need help, please contact the Election Secretariat.
About voting and the election system
You can only vote electronically
You cannot vote by post or by paper ballot
Your vote is anonymous
The election organisers can see that you voted, but not what you voted. All communication between your computer and the voting system is encrypted, so nobody else can see what you vote.
Get a receipt stating that you have voted.
In the voting system there is a link that allows you to see your own data in E-valg. The function generates an HTML file that you can open or save.
If the voting system crashes
An emergency response plan has been created for the election process. If the system “crashes” and the election cannot be carried out electronically, a decision will be made about the subsequent process. In case of a long-term breakdown, you can read more at www.au.dk.
Cheating/hacking or similar
If you believe you have discovered cheating, hacking or similar, please contact the Election Secretariat.
