Aarhus University has received 9,752 first-choice applications to the university's degree programmes. While slightly lower than last year – as anticipated – applications are back at pre-Covid levels.
On 2 September 2022, AU is holding an introductory seminar for new members of staff. Please encourage your new colleagues to participate.
A refurbishment of the current buildings in the “IT Corner” and “IT Park” in Katrinebjerg and a completely new 8,850 m2 building next door. These are parts of a new plan for AU’s activities in Katrinebjerg, which will support the university’s IT and engineering programmes. At the same time, students and employees in the area will be able to enjoy better facilities for collaboration and synergy between degree programmes.
Aarhus University’s new system for conducting digital exams is called WISEflow – this is the result of a tendering procedure that has just been completed. WISEflow is already being used at Aarhus BSS and will be rolled out to the rest of the university in autumn 2023.

The union representatives and the management have been negotiating a new agreement on working hours for academic staff at the Faculty of Arts. These negotiations have taken quite a long time. But they have been conducted in a positive spirit, and a great number of issues have been discussed along the way.
On some master's degree programmes and Master's supplementary subject there are elective courses on the 1st semester. If this applies to your Master's degree programme, you must register/state your priority via the Student Self-service system (STADS) in the period 5 to 10 August. You can access STADS via mystudies.au.dk.
