Switch to Pivot-RP before we lose access to Research Professional
From 1 November 2026, it will no longer be possible to access Research Professional at AU. For this reason, we recommend that Research Professional users go ahead and switch to Pivot-RP now – or as soon as possible.
Both Pivot-RP and Research Professional are provided by Clarivate, and the content of the two databases is identical. However, the provider is no longer supporting Research Professional in terms of layout and functionality, and it is unclear whether or when the solution will be retired completely.
You can access the news module, which you will be familiar with from Research Professional, via this link. You’ll find the news section in Pivot-RP under ‘News’ after you sign in.
Remember to transfer saved content to Pivot-RP
Please note that no personal settings in Research Professional, including saved searches, fund lists and the like, will not be automatically transferred to Pivot-RP. If you need to set up funder lists, notifications and the like in Pivot-RP, you can get help and guidance in the tutorial and introductory videos here.
