In 2026, the Technology Transfer Office (TTO) will consolidate new work processes

TTO worked extensively on optimising and adjusting work processes during 2025 and succeeded in significantly reducing case processing times.

TTO management wants to maintain this momentum in 2026, without losing the things that work well.

The new division manager of TTO, Lisbeth Guldbæk Smith, attributes the progress to the hard work of the lawyers and a stronger focus on initial alignment of expectations and shorter processes.

'At TTO, it is important to us that our processes ensure high quality so researchers and partners are satisfied with the work we do. We draft around 3,000 contracts for AU every year, each of which is an important foundation for researchers' collaboration with external parties or for the financing of research'.

If you are wondering about the status of your own case(s), you are always welcome to contact the case officer in question or someone in management. If you need to start a new agreement or require advice regarding a research collaboration, you can find your contact person here: Find your contact person at TTO.
