Set your research free: Publish Open Access
It is important to get your research results out there and read by as many people as possible, and this makes Open Access an important focus.

In 2018, the Danish Agency for Higher Education and Science adopted a strategy for Open Access with a goal of 100 per cent by 2025. We are some way off achieving this goal according to an evaluation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. There are many reasons why things are not going as quickly as desired: publishers' requirements for researchers, merit systems at universities, prestige, publishing habits among researchers, etc.
Two articles from the Royal Danish Library (see below) report on the status of the implementation of Open Access. Furthermore, the next newsletter from AU Research Support will bring two articles from the Research Data Office, which address, in a more general context, the dilemmas, barriers and opportunities in Open Access.
