How we work on our alumni activities

Who can become a member

Aarhus University’s Alumni Network is, as the name says, a network for alumni of the university.

You are considered an “alum”, when you hold a bachelor’s, master’s, PhD, professional master’s, or diploma degree, or when you have completed an international exchange programme.

Students can join the network from the final semester of their degree program or international exchange program at AU.

How is our network organised

Aarhus University’s Alumni Network is a unified network with a shared Alumni Newsletter, currently sent out three times a year, and a basic package of common membership benefits.

At the same time, the network represents a diversity of academic fields. Aarhus University’s faculties and departments offer various opportunities to engage as a member, and many degree programmes have established discipline-specific alumni groups within the framework of AU’s Alumni Network.

What is our purpose

The network has been established to support the development of strong and life-long relations between the university and its alumni as well as engaged and rewarding interactions between alumni and between alumni, students and employees.
