School Board of Studies
The School Board of Studies is responsible for contributing to the development of the education portfolio at Aarhus BSS, which includes making sure that the different Programme Boards of Studies perform the tasks mentioned above.
The School Board of Studies has a special focus on matters relating to border issues between the individual programmes, in order to ensure that the internal education market is functioning well. In addition, the School Board of Studies has a coordinating role and reports with appropriate intervals to the dean.
The Aarhus BSS School Board of Studies consists of the vice-dean for education as well as 14 other members, with an equal representation of academic staff and students. The chair and vice-chair of the respective programme boards of studies automatically become members of the Aarhus BSS School Board of Studies. The Aarhus BSS School Board of Studies elects a chair from among the chairs of the programme boards of studies, while the vice-chair is elected from among the student representatives. The board’s work is organised by the vice-dean for education in collaboration with the chair and vice-chair.
The School Board of Studies meets approximately once a month during a semester.
