Workshops and support from Circle U. for researchers at AU
Academic staff at AU can participate in Circle U. activities to strengthen their research and network. The current activities include workshops on idea development, an award for interdisciplinary research and support for establishing research networks. Application closes in May 2022.
The European University Alliance Circle U. offers a number of activities for academic staff employed at AU. Here, you may get help for developing your idea into a project proposal or win an award and gain increased visibility for your interdisciplinary research project.
These are the activities with deadlines in May 2022:
- Circle U. Sandpits: Participate in two workshops on idea development in Louvain. Deadline 31 May.
- Inter Circle U. Prize: Pitch an interdisciplinary project and win help from professionals to produce a promotional video about your project. Deadline 10 May.
- Interdisciplinary Thematic Research Networks: Get support for establishing new research networks as a principal investigator. Deadline 31 May.
Circle U. also offers a number of free summer schools for students – application closes on 29 April 2022.
The alliance is a collaboration between nine European universities who work together to strengthen internationalisation in the university sector and create new connections between research, education and innovation.
