Only use PubMed as an import source if metadata is not in Scopus
The AU Pure team encourages a limited use of PubMed as an import source, as the quality of metadata from here is often too poor. PubMed may still be used as a supplement to the Scopus import.
We have found that metadata from PubMed is often of poorer quality than what we get from the Scopus import in Pure. Therefore, we would encourage you to limit the use of PubMed as a primary import source and instead check whether a publication can be imported from Scopus.
Use Scopus ID instead of ORCID in your search. ORCID only works if it is linked to the researcher's ID in Scopus.
If the publication cannot be found in Scopus, PubMed can still be used as an import source.
This is a new initiative, so please report any problems and give feedback to pure@au.dk
