Now the year is slowly coming to an end, and so we are also approaching the deadline for registering publications/research output in Pure.

- Registration: January 18, 2026, all publications published in 2025 must be registered in Pure

- Validation: March 1, 2026, all timely registered publications will be validated by the AU Pure team.

Validated publications are the basis for publication overviews for AU, and publications registered after the deadline may not be validated in time and thus not be included in the year's management reporting.

It is the researcher's own responsibility to ensure that all 2025 publications are registered in Pure, but you, as Pure administrator, can help your researchers by making them aware of this. You can encourage them to check their AU profile to see if everything is included. When they want to make sure that the publication status is correct and everything has been sent for validation, they can log in to Pure.

Attention for new employees

Please help your new researcher colleagues in Pure to get their affiliations correct, so that only AU publications are listed with an AU affiliation. New employees are welcome to display their previous (non-AU) publications on their AU Pure profile/personal AU homepage, but they must be aware that their affiliation is correct on each previous publication. Otherwise, they may end up attributing non-AU publications to their current AU department.
