The Open Science Comittee

Aarhus University wishes to support the Open Science agenda, which ensures that the larger, societal investment and interest in research is used to the benefit of people, society, innovation, and developmenty.

The Open Science Comittee aims to ensure openness about the surrounding processes, to reveal new opportunities to ensure transparency, integrity, responsability, and reproducibility in all phases of the research process.

The EU actively supports the Open Science agenda, inlcuding work according to the FAIR principles (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable). This same holds true for Denmark, where a National Strategy for Data Management Based on the FAIR Principles was passed in 2021.
