All work programmes for Horizon Europe have been published
Horizon Europe (the EU framework programme for research) has two years left, and all work programmes have now been published. In other words, there will be no new developments in 2026 and 2027. Therefore, now is a good time to familiarise yourself with the programmes and possibly write an application.
You can find the work programmes on the EU Funding & Tenders Portal here. In pillar II, the latest work programmes containing all the thematic entries are published. The ERC (Pillar I) and European Innovation Council (EIC – Pillar III) work programmes are only for one year, but no changes are expected in 2027 other than adjustments to the budget framework. These work programmes are also available on the Funding & Tenders Portal.
The EU is already well underway with developing the successor to Horizon Europe. The article above provides an initial insight into the outlines of this upcoming framework programme, which is currently referred to as FP10.
