New study environments at Aarhus BSS in Herning
The study environments at the Department of Business Development and Technology have been upgraded and made more attractive for students on the business and engineering programmes.

For more than a year, Aarhus BSS has been improving the physical environment at Campus Herning in order to create a better study and working environment. Those facilities are now ready to be taken into use.
Until now, students in Herning have been located at the central campus and in the "Innovatorium" on the opposite side of the road, where Business Factory has been working on their startup projects.
Renovations bring more life to campus
Business Factory has now moved into the former library, which has instead been moved one floor down to the very centre of the building, making it more visible and accessible. Academic activities have thereby been concentrated in fewer buildings.
A new student bar has also been added, and the canteen has been divided into smaller sections to make the settings more intimate and create more variety. And finally, IT services have now moved into the same building as the other student-oriented administrative functions, including the Student Counsellors' Office.
"We’re really happy with the new surroundings. They bring much more life to campus and we’re also closer to different functions," says Head of Department Anders Frederiksen.
Overall, the renovations have created a more unified study environment with more cozy zones for academic activities and just hanging out, all the while generating more life and activity on campus.
The new facilities were officially inaugurated on Wednesday 19 February.
