The first concrete announcement regarding post-consultation decisions and local follow-up will take place on 22 October. In the meantime, the senior management team will read and discuss the 167 consultation responses that have been submitted. Responses have been submitted by the academic councils, the liaison committees (both local liaison committees and the Main Liaison Committee), research groups, trade unions, student organisations, groups of employees and individuals.
Together they have submitted approx. 600 pages of consultation responses. It is now possible to read the consultation responses from the official governing and advisory bodies that are automatically published as well as responses from other respondents who have indicated that they wish to have their responses published.
The senior management team wishes to thank everyone for participating actively in the process of developing solutions to the problems that have been identified at Aarhus University. During the consultation process, there has been good discussions all over the university.
On 22 October from 10:00 to noon, Rector Brian Bech Nielsen will hold an open meeting in Stakladen at which he will brief staff and students about the decisions that the senior management team is prepared to announce on the background of the consultation and the problem analysis. In addition, he will outline the framework for the subsequent process that will take place at the faculties and in the administration. On the same day, open meetings will be held at the faculties and in the administration from 14:00 to 16:00.
