Over the last few years AU has had framework agreements covering the purchase of computers. These have allowed us to buy equipment at significantly cheaper prices. But there have also been limitations in terms of what we have been legally able to purchase.
During the last round of tenders we negotiated framework agreements which are cheaper and more flexible than the previous ones. Under the new framework agreements, 95% of all computer and tablet purchases at AU are supported. The framework agreements are also honored even if you decide to buy more powerful computers from the framework agreement supplier.
