An interim HSU has been established which will sit until early November 2011, until representatives to the new AU occupational health and safety liaison committee are elected this autumn.

Chief Adviser Lone Ploughmann Iversen will represent the Arts management team on the interim committee, while Associate Professor Per Dahl from Aesthetics and Communication will represent Arts staff.

The interim committee will focus on working with the local occupational health and safety committees at each main academic area to determine the framework for the new AU occupational health and safety organisation. Until the new organisation is in place, the interim committee and local committees will also work together on day-to-day health and safety-related business will address any acute needs that might arise.
