Theses in WISEflow look quite different from how they did in the old exam system. One of the biggest differences is that in WISEflow, multiple students are typically part of the same "flow" (exam), and these students can have different supervisors, examiners, submission deadlines, and assessment deadlines.
You might encounter flows where almost all students have the same submission deadline, for example, June 3, 2024, but you could also encounter flows where all students have different submission deadlines.
These factors mean that it can be beneficial for you to check the individual deadlines of the students.
When you, as an assessor, click on a thesis in WISEflow, you will see that some general deadlines are indicated at the top of the page:
A flow is set up with deadlines that apply to most students in that flow as much as possible. This does not necessarily mean that all students in the above flow must submit by June 3. Therefore, it can be advantageous to check if there are individual assessment deadlines in the flow. You can see this by scrolling down the page and looking under "individual assessment deadline":
If you cannot see an individual assessment deadline at the bottom of the page, you should adhere to the general deadlines you see at the top of the page.
As a supervisor, you cannot see the individual submission deadlines of the students, but you will receive an email from WISEflow and from the exam administration when one or more of your students submit a thesis in WISEflow.
You are welcome to contact the exam administration (UVAEKA) if you need to know a student's submission deadline in advance.
Flows with many different submission deadlines can be open for a long time because the flow is set up with the outermost submission dates. For example, there may be students in the same flow with submission deadlines in March, April, May, June, July, and August.
You can find the contact information for the external examiners under "co-assessors":
It can happen that a thesis is submitted without an assigned examiner. Contact the exam administration (UVAEKA) if you discover that an examiner is missing for a thesis.

You are always very welcome to contact the exam administration (UVAEKA) if you have questions about how theses are handled in WISEflow.
