Presentation 2: The Transgender Position in the Pedagogical Job Market

The presentation is both personal and professional, mixed together with a good dose of self-irony and humor. I attempt to map out some of the challenges of existing as transgender in a society that lacks language, frameworks, or procedures for it. It addresses both the transgender identity marker and my own journey in student life, work life, and family life.

Insight into life as a transgender person and a framework for understanding. They also get words to use when talking about it and a clarified understanding of gender.
