The Arts Administrative Centre (ACA) is part of AU’s unified administration, which consists of four administrative centres (one at each faculty) and the central administration. The centre was set up in 2011, and is managed by Ole Jensen.
The ACA has about 200 employees based in two geographical locations (Aarhus and Copenhagen). They perform administrative tasks for the schools and centres at the Faculty of Arts within the fields of HR, estates management, IT, communication, and PhD and studies administration.
The ACA is also home to the faculty’s career guidance service, and collaborates closely with the departments of AU Library that are based at the Faculty of Arts.
The ACA supports the faculty’s core activities in the fields of research and education. This is done by using a tried and tested partner scheme to ensure close contact between the faculty’s subject environments and the administration. The staff are highly specialised, but they also frequently work together to create cohesive and holistic solutions for the faculty’s schools and centres.
