We recommend that you change your password directly on your computer when you are logged on to AU’s network.
1. Press CTRL+ALT+DEL and select ‘Change a password’.
2. Write your current password and then the new password twice.
REMEMBER: When you have changed your password, you must remember to change the password on all your devices e.g. smartphone and tablet. You will also be asked to enter the new password on Eduroam and email on all mobile devices which you use to access your AU email.

1. AU’s Mac computers run a program in the background called ‘NoMAD’. This program synchronizes your UNI password with the Mac computer locally.
2. NoMAD places an icon (triangle) on the right-hand side of the menu bar.
3. If you want to change your password, select ‘Change Password’ from the NoMAD menu.
4. The Mac will then ask for your old password and a new password
5. The following NoMAD message appears when your password has been changed successfully.
1. If your password is about to expire, you will receive a notification.
2. You must then connect to AU’s network (via cable or VPN) and change your password.
1. If you have used other devices than your Mac to change the password for your UNI account, the following notification will be displayed when you log on to your Mac.
2. Click ‘Sign In’ and enter your new password.
3. NoMAD will then ask you to change your password locally on your Mac by entering the current password to your Mac (the password you used to log on to your Mac)

1. Go to staff.au.dk and logon to your staff profile at the top right
2. Click ‘Change password’ under the staff profile
4. Write a new password
5. Repeat the new password
6. Finish by clicking ‘Change password’.

1. I cannot log on to Outlook, BlackBoard etc, but I am logged on to my computer and connected to the internet via landline.

Solution: You must use your NemID to order a new password. Borrow a computer which is connected to the internet and follow the procedure below:
