On average we spend approx 21 hours a week in meetings. They are an important arena for collaboration and decision-making, and at their best, they create value for both the participants and Aarhus University.
To foster more inclusive discussions, it's essential to rethink meeting structures. Traditional meeting formats, such as the "popcorn model"—where participants contribute spontaneously—and the "round-robin" approach—where each person speaks in turn—often tends to favor extroverted individuals.
By implementing new strategies/methods, meetings can become more engaging and productive, ensuring that a wider array of voices is heard and valued.
