Events in the Aula and Vandrehallen

The Aula and Vandrehallen can be booked for professional purposes, that can be related to Aarhus University. The Aula is a ceremonial room and is only used exceptionally for teaching and the like.

The Aula is located in the building 1412 and Vandrehallen is located in building 1410. The Adress is Nordre Ringgade 4, 8000 Aarhus C

Noise and consideration

Be noticed that the Aula and Vandrehal is placed in an area where both students and employees moves and have their daily routine. They should be able to move around the area during any events in the Aulaen or Vandrehallen without being bothered by noise or orders about total silence.

Practical informations

Grand Piano

Grand Piano

If you want to use the grand piano, you must expect expenses of around DKK 700 to get it tuned. This must be agreed with Building Operations.

Banner

After prior agreement with AU Event and Communication Support, an outdoor banner can be hung on the building facade facing Ringgaden. Hanging and taking down is handled by an external lift company at the organizer's expense.

Receptions

If you wish to use the Vandrehallen for a subsequent reception, this must be booked separately for the purpose. The Vandrehallen functions in everyday life as a review room and as reading spaces for students. In the Vandrehallen, there are tables and chairs for approximately 95 people, which can be set up according to specific needs. Remember to include set-up time in the room reservation and order an external moving company for the set-up via Building Services. The Vandrehallen can accommodate a maximum of 250 people.If you need to hold receptions for more than 250 people, you can apply for permission to use the The Museum of Ancient Art's rooms or contact The Conference Centre

Outside areas

The use of the outdoor areas is agreed with the local buildings services. In the basement level of the main building there are, among other things, cloakroom and toilet facilities.

There is also passage via the Ringgade Tunnel to various extras meeting- and canteen facilities.

IT support

Inquiries regarding the use of AV and IT equipment in the Auditorium can be sent to Aarhus BSS IT

  • Indretning
    • Al opstilling af inventar foretagges af et eksternt flyttefirma. Eventuelle opstillinger skal altid bestilles af den lokale Bygningsdrift, mens udgiften (ca. 20.000-30.000 kr.) afholdes af  den arrangerende enhed. For samtlige opstillinger gælder det, at alle brandmyndighedens regler samt flugtvejsplaner for lokalet skal overholdes. Se eventuelt flugtvejsplanen for Aulaen og Vandrehallen

  • Driftssupport
    • Den normale åbningstid for driftssupporten er mandag til fredag kl. 07.00-15.30 på tlf. 2899 2222. Ved arrangementer uden for driftspersonalets normale åbningstid eller ved arrangementer, der kræver specialsupport, skal der laves en aftale med den lokale Bygningsdrift. Det samme gælder for rengøring ud over normalrengøring. Ovenstående skal planlægges i samråd med Bygningsdrift. Timeprisen for henholdsvis driftssupport og rengøring er 400 kr. og 350 kr.

There is tables and chairs in the Vandrehallen for approcimately 95 persons, which can be set up according to specific needs.. Rember to calculate for the time to set up the place when you reserve this room, and there is need to order external moving company to setting it up. This is ordered by contacting the Bulidings Services  The Vandrehallen can accomodate a maximum of 250 people. If you need to have a receptions for more than 250 people, you can apply for permission to use the Antikmuseets rooms or contact the  Conferencecentre.
