Events in the Conference Centre

The conference center can be used for meetings and events that are a direct extension of AU's purpose and work within education, research and knowledge sharing. As a rule, the premises are not used for ordinary teaching and examinations.

The Conference Center is in the buildings 1420-1423. The Adress is Fredrik Nielsens Vej 2-4, 8000 Aarhus C.

Renovation of Stakladen, Hornung, Mortensen and Zieler from June to August 2024

The facilities in Stakladen, Hornung, Mortensen and Zieler in the Conference Center is being renovated from June 1st to August 31st 2024.

Please don’t apply for rooms for events over 80 persons in renovation period.

Catering

Catering for events and meetings is ordered separately from the room booking itself. You are not obliged to buy catering when you borrow/rent a room in the Conference Centre. If you want catering at an event or meeting held by Aarhus University, the catering must be purchased from the lessee of the canteen in the Conference Centre

At events and meetings held by external parties, it is possible to buy catering from another supplier, but not alcohol.At events and meetings held by external parties, it is possible to buy catering from another supplier, but not alcohol. If this solution is chosen, the organizer is responsible for service and clean-up. As an organizer, you cannot order catering for the purpose of resale.

Tables and chairs

All arrangements of tables and chairs must be agreed with the Confence Center no later than five working days before the event, preferably earlier

Cleaning

At parties or events after 22.00 on weekdays and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays, extra cleaning will be charged. The hourly price for extra cleaning is DKK 350 excl. VAT

Betjent

Extra officer hours can be ordered outside of normal working hours on weekdays and on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The hourly price for an extra officer is DKK 400 excl. VAT.

IT support

Inquiries regarding the use of AV and IT equipment in the Conference Center can be sent to Aarhus BSS IT

If you need IT support on the day of the event, Aarhus BSS IT support can be contacted on 8715 0933 during opening hours.
