How to hold a meeting in a virtual meeting room

Virtual meeting rooms are available to AU staff. You can use a virtual meeting room if the meeting has more than two participants who are located in more than two rooms with video conferencing equipment. A guide on how to use a virtual meeting room is available here.

How to use a virtual meeting room

  1. Start by booking a virtual meeting room in Outlook. The virtual meeting rooms are called ‘Virtuelt mødelokale’ (virtual meeting room) and have room numbers from 1001 to 1019, e.g. ‘Virtuelt mødelokale 1001’, ‘Virtuelt mødelokale 1019’ etc. Find out how to search for the virtual meeting rooms in Outlook and reserve them in guide Use the Room Finder for meetings in Outlook (external guide).
