Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship

Eligibility: 

Fellows must have acquired a PhD degree within the last 8 years at the time of the application deadline. Fellows cannot have resided in Denmark for more than 12 months within the last 36 months.

Grant size:  Fixed amount per person month.Funding for Fellow , research, training, management and indirect cost (no supervisor funding).

Marie Curie Doctoral Network

Eligibility:  Doctoral Networks (DNs) aim to foster doctoral programmes through international partnerships. Their purpose is to train excellent PhDs with strong innovation capacities and employability. Open to international consortia, they require at least three entities from different EU or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
Grant size:  Fixed amount per PhD person month.Funding for PhDs, research, training, management and indirect cost (no supervisor funding).

MSCA Staff Exchanges

Eligibility: 

Staff Exchanges are open to international consortia of universities, research institutions, businesses, SMEs and other non-academic organisations.

They need to include: At least three organisations in three different countries, two of which need to be located in a different EU Member State or Horizon Europe Associated Country. Above this minimum, the participation of organisations from any country is possible.

The consortium must include participating organisations from both academic and non-academic sectors. Participation of organisations from non-associated third countries is strongly encouraged.

Staff funded by Staff Exchanges can be researchers at any career stage, from PhD candidates to postdoctoral researchers, as well as administrative, technical or managerial staff involved in research and innovation activities. Can be of any nationality. Should return to their sending organisation after the secondment, to pass on their knowledge and foster collaboration.

Grant size: 

Seconded staff receives:

- a top-up allowance (for travel, accommodation, subsistence costs), which is on top of the salary paid by their organization

- a special needs allowance, if applicable

In addition, funding is provided for:

- research, training and networking activities

- management and indirect costs

Objective of Staff Exchanges

Funds short-term international and inter-sectoral exchanges of staff members involved in research and innovation activities of participating organisations. The aim develop sustainable collaborative projects between different organisations from

the academic and non-academic sectors (in particular SMEs), based in Europe and beyond. Exchanged staff benefit from new knowledge, skills and career development perspectives, while participating organisations increase their research and innovation capacities. MSCA COFUND

Eligibility:

MSCA COFUND provides complementary funding for doctoral or postdoctoral programmes managed by entities established in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries that aim to strengthen the international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary training, mobility and career development of doctoral and postdoctoral researchers.  Programmes can cover any research disciplines. The Beneficiary may fund, recruit, supervise, host or train the researchers, either on its own or in conjunction with Implementing and Associated Partners.

Grant size:

A fixed amount (COFUND allowance) per person month. This allowance can be used to support any cost items of the programme. COFUND projects should last for up to five years and should recruit at least 3 researchers.Please note that there is a limit of max.10 mio. EUR per beneficiary per call

MSCA Choose Europe for Science

Eligibility:

The objective of MSCA Choose Europe for Science is to tackle brain drain and precarity of researchers' careers to make Europe more attractive to the most promising young talents. Applicants submit proposals for talent recruitment programmes that will provide researchers holding a doctoral degree with excellent research and academic opportunities, potentially coupled with management activities, to lead them to concrete and attractive career prospects. The programmes will be divided into two phases. An EU-funded phase (24-36 months) in which the EU funding will cover direct and indirect costs related to the implementation of the programme and a phase funded fully by the beneficiary (24 months) in which the applicant is expected to set salaries attractive at a national level and ensure availability of the necessary internal or external funds to implement the project. Proposed programmes can cover any research disciplines.

Grant size:

A fixed amount (Choose Europe for Science allowance) per person month. This allowance can be used to support any cost items of the programme. Projects should last for up to five years and should recruit at least 3 researchers. A beneficiary can receive a maximum of €3.5 million for this call.
