How to set up an email signature in Outlook

An email signature should contain the following elements in this order:

  • Name
  • Title
  • Academic degrees where relevant
  • Direct telephone number
  • Mobile phone number
  • Email address
  • Personal homepage
  • (space / new column)
  • Unit
  • Aarhus University
  • Address (street address, PO box where relevant)
  • Address (area code + city)
  • Unit telephone number
  • Unit email address
  • Unit homepage
  • (space)
  • Unit logo (graphics)

Logos can be downloaded from here. We recommend using PNG format so the signature will not look strange if you use dark theme.

We recommend that you set up your email signature as shown below.
