The PC is pre installed with Office 365 (word, excel, outlook). Please note that it may take up to 24 hours before the license is released. Until then, you can use webmail and online Office applications from https://m365.cloud.microsoft/apps/.
If you need other applications such as Adobe Acrobat, Chrome, Firefox etc., you can download and install via AU's Company Portal
Once NoMAD has approved your UNI username and password you’ll be prompted to sign in again. This is because the local password for your Mac doesn’t match the UNI domain.
Key in ‘nosecret’ when it asks you for ‘password for your Mac’.
Then NoMAD will synchronise the local password with the UNI domain, and the ‘nosecret’ password will no longer be valid.
To sign into your email account and a lot of other AU systems, you need to set up two-factor authentication on your phone.

The Microsoft Office 365 package is pre-installed on your new computer. The first time when you open an Office application you need to sign in with your AU username, auxxxxx@uni.au.dk in order to register your license. Please note that it may take up to 24 hours before the license is released. Until then, you can use webmail and online Office applications from Office.com.
You can install the program from AU Company Portal. To activate your license, you need to sign in to your account. The first time you open Adobe Acrobat Pro, sign in with the username auxxxxx@uni.au.dk.

How do I avoid that my external monitors go black, when closing the lid on my laptop?
In your windows menu, search for Control Panel -> Power Options -> Choose what closing the lid does. Mark settings with "do nothing" when I close the lid and save changes.
